Privacy Policy

Effective August 11, 2026. The short version: this site collects almost nothing, and it never collects health information. We are a directory, not a healthcare provider, and we are not a covered entity under HIPAA.

What we collect

Browsing this site requires no account and sends us no personal information. This site currently sets no cookies and runs no analytics. If that changes, this policy will say so before it happens, and anything we add will be chosen to collect as little as possible.

If you join a waitlist, we collect your contact information and what you told us you are looking for, and we use it for exactly one thing: telling you when that thing exists. There is no drip sequence and your details are never sold or shared for marketing.

What we never collect

We do not collect health information about anyone seeking therapy. This site is a directory. Booking, intake, insurance, and everything clinical happen directly between you and the therapist you choose, on their own systems. Nothing you send us is protected health information, and you should not send us anything about a client or a course of treatment.

Therapist applications

Applying to be listed asks for your professional credentials: license type, number, issuing state, and expiration date, plus your contact details and practice links. That is business information about your practice, not client information. We never ask for a copy of the license document itself, because verification happens against the state board's public lookup. What stays on file is the information that is already public record there, which is also what appears on your profile.

Waitlist and application submissions are delivered to us by a workflow automation service and stored in a private tracking sheet that only the directory's operator can see. If that tooling changes, this policy will say so.

Deletion

Ask and we delete it: waitlist entries at any time, and application materials for anyone not listed. A published listing is removed when the subscription ends.
