What This Directory Comprises:

RemotePsychotherapist.com is a paid listing service. We offer psychotherapists to those seeking a psychotherapist. We do not offer medical or clinical advice. Choosing your therapist, setting up an appointment with your therapist, and everything that follows the latter arrangement, is directly between your therapist and yourself.

Listings Are Paid:

Therapists pay a monthly fee to be listed in our directory.

Verification:

Verification confirms a license is active and in good standing against the issuing state board's public record on the date shown. It is a point-in-time check and will be verified every 4 months. It is not an endorsement of clinical quality or a recommendation of any therapist. A license can lapse or be disciplined after we check it, which is why the date is published and why we re-check before each expiration date.

Subscriptions and Removal:

Listings renew monthly and can be canceled at any time; a canceled profile comes down at the end of the period paid for. A profile whose license expires without a confirmed renewal comes down until it is re-verified. We may remove a listing that misrepresents its credentials.

Accuracy:

Profile content beyond the license record is written by the therapist and is their own description of their practice. We are not responsible for the information that each therapist shares on this directory about their practice.
