Alicia S. Frank, LMHC

Alicia has been doing this work for 30 years, and her practice is now entirely online. She works with adults across Florida through anxiety, depression, grief, addiction and recovery, divorce, and the ordinary hard transitions that do not have a name yet.

Her foundation is psychoanalytic, which means she is interested in why a pattern keeps happening, not just how to manage it this week. On top of that she uses cognitive and behavioral tools when something practical needs to change, and spiritual counseling when a client wants that dimension in the room. She will tell you plainly that therapy is a commitment, not an overnight fix, and that the relationship you build with your therapist is most of what makes it work.

Sessions run over a private, HIPAA-compliant video platform, or by phone if you would rather not be on camera. She offers a free ten-minute phone consultation before a first session, so you can find out whether she sounds like your kind of person before anything is scheduled or billed.

One rule to know before booking: Alicia is licensed in Florida, so she can only see clients who are physically located in Florida at the time of their appointment.
